ST. Patrick's Day Parade

We will be walking in the St. Patrick's Day parade on Friday the 17th of March. All registered boys and girls are welcome to join us in the parade. We are still waiting on confirmation for our meeting spot and time from the council, Once we have that information we will inform everyone! As always we can never have enough help when partaking in these type of events Parents/ Guardians are more than welcome to assist us in keeping things safe and under control please wear your club colours 🔵🟡

Recruitment

We are actively recruiting new boys and girls into our club through the local schools (Scoil lorcain and The Ursuline Primary school). You might of seen some posts on social media advertising training days/ times we ask you to please engage (like/share/comment) with posts as this helps broaden the reach of the post. We are a growing club and are always seeking new children to join our teams. If you know of any boys and girls who might be interested in trying out hurling or Gaelic football please share the poster below with their Parent/ Guardian.

Registration

The number of players registered to date has been phenomenal so thank you to those who have registered so quickly. There are still quite a few yet to register every single player that steps on the field in Poleberry or Williamstown to play hurling or Gaelic football must be registered in the next 2 weeks. Registration fees for children can be paid for by 10 monthly instalments of €10. Adult registration must be completed also and can be paid for by 10 monthly instalments of €15. Lotto

The return of our monthly lotto draw has been a huge success thus far. We will be outside the local shops again this month on Saturday the 18th of March we ask for just an hour of your time to sell tickets. We have been doing well the past 3 months but need some fresh faces involved if you can spare an hour for your club please contact Kevin Burke on 087 6117774 with you preferred time slot.

Intermediate & Junior Hurling leagues

Our intermediates open up their league campaign in a month’s time with the first game being away to Stradbally on Friday the 7th of April at 7.30pm. The Junior team will start their league off by hosting passage Saturday the 8th of April at 4pm in Poleberry. All fixtures and results will be posted here on clubzap.
